Am 10. September 2022 verlieh der IBKA seinen Preis „Sapio“ an Maryam Namazie, Sprecherin des Rates der Ex-Muslime Großbritanniens (Council of ex-Muslims of Britain).
IBKA awards its "Sapio" prize to Maryam Namazie, spokesperson of the Council of ex-Muslims of Britain.
The Council of ex-Muslims campaigns for equal rights and against privilege or discrimination in the name of religion, for the right to criticise religion and against interference in private affairs in the name of religion.
The date of the award ceremony, which had to be postponed due to Corona, is Saturday, 10 September 2022. The venue is Bürgerhaus Kalk in Cologne, Kalk-Mülheimer Str. 58. Start is 7:30 p.m., admission from 7 p.m.
Wearing a mask and an up-to-date Corona test is required.
